Crystal Divers is very pleased to announce that all of our May IE candidates passed their I.E with flying colours! After weeks of hard work on the IDC we are delighted to be able to say ‘congratulations’ to Oulin, Gaby, Marije and our very own barman Mitch! Guys you were fantastic and you really did us proud! After a very successful day everybody came back to party in style here at Crystal Divers along with the candidates from Blue Season and Bali Scuba – see it pays to have your own bar! DDI course in Bali
Disabled Divers International paid Crystal Divers Bali a visit on the 30th April 2010, to educate senior IDC Staff Instructor Else Poulsen about teaching disabled divers. Else had some extra help though from all the Instructor candidates currently at Crystal Divers who were very willing to be put through their paces and learn the skills necessary to properly assist disabled diving students.
DDI is a non profit organization which aims to promote, develop and conduct disabled scuba diving programs for professional and non professional students. It is a common misconception that the disabled cannot dive whereas in fact with the proper support and educational it can be a fun and extremely beneficial activity.
Crystal Divers would like to thank Flemming Thyge and Disabled Divers International for a very enjoyable yet educational day and would recommend the course to anyone who is interested in working with disabled divers. Crystal Divers is proud to announce that our very own Else Poulsen is now a fully qualified DDI instructor, and that DDI courses are now available in Bali.
ADEX best in class awards 2010
Crystal Divers is delighted to announce that we were three time winners at the recent ADEX dive show awards held in Singapore on April 10th 2010. Voted for by readers of Asian Diver and Scuba diver magazines the awards recognise excellence in the diving industry. The awards are split into 2 categories: Best in class Dive school and Best in class Dive professional. In the top dive schools 8 nominees were announced and of these 2 winners were selected- Crystal Divers is thrilled to be one of the 2 winners! In the best in class dive professional category, 10 nominees were announced and of these 5 winners were selected- we are over the moon to be able to congratulate BOTH Minni Vangsgaard and Toto Sugianto. This represents a real coup for Crystal Divers and we are so proud that our efforts have been recognised by the people who mean the most to us- our customers!
