Manta Point: The west side of Nusa Lembongan – the home for thousands of bats. It can be your dive of a lifetime – if you see the Mantas dancing – otherwise it’s mainly rock formations and less visibility than average. This site can be reached within an hour. In the unlikely event the Mantas are taking a day off, we’ll do the second dive on the other side of the island, so we’ll make sure you get a least one superb dive. Take the chance….. There’s an 80 % chance for a great show. The visibility is anything from 5 to 30 meters. Price : $140 - 2 tank dives |

Tulamben
Here lays the world renowned shipwreck of the SS Liberty, a steam cargo ship built in the USA. During WW2 she was torpedoed by the Japanese on January 11 1942, just off the Lombok strait. Fortunately for divers she did not sink and was towed to the north east shore of Bali to Tulamben, there she was stripped of everything valuable. |

Bali's largest volcano, Gunung Agung, erupted in 1963, pushing
her into the water, around 40 meters from the beach.
Making this
a great shore dive, especially for those that may have had a
period of inactivity during those winter months back at home and
want to get back into diving gently. The whole of the shipwreck
is covered in corals and a great variety of fish life, which are
relatively tame to.
|
|
Although the shipwreck is the main attraction for divers at Tulamben there are several other great sites there too. At the eastern end is the famous Tulamben Drop-Off, a sheer wall teeming with marine life. Further around there are vast slopes and rock formations dropping into the deep and the reef in the main bay has been a favorite for some of the world's top photographers for many years. All of this coupled with very little current, makes absolutely perfect conditions for the whole of the Advanced Open Water Course as well as many Specialty Courses - Underwater Photography, Wreck or one of the best Night Specialty dives most people will do in there lives! It's also a great place to stay to. Price : $100 - 2 tank dives |

Menjangan Price : $120 - 2 tank dives |

Amed
Also known as Jemeluk, Amed is situated on Bali's north east shore quite close to the better known dive area of Tulamben. Amed is a small north facing bay with high cliffs on the eastern side and sandy salt flats to the west offering a choice of two dives, one a wall (east) and the other a drift over terracing underwater landscapes. At the foot of the cliffs to the east of the bay lies a large coral reef in fairly shallow water. |
|
As the reef spreads out seaward it suddenly plunges down about
50 meters out from the cliff bottom forming a wall that runs
eastward into the next bay around the headland.
Price : $100 - 2 tank dives
