Snorkeling in Bali
After 2 months on the island, snorkeling in Padang Bai is one of the best things you can do around Bali. The village allows you to go to different sites near the main beach. If you are lucky you might see reef sharks, rays, pelagic fish and large schools of fish and turtles!
If you are a macro enthusiasts and underwater photographer, you will be enjoying diving at Blue Lagoon which is the most famous spot in Padang Bai. It’s a sandy bay with numerous blocks of coral and soft coral fields. The best conditions are in the morning, where visibility is often better. Thanks to Crystal Divers we were alone during a long time because we arrived earlier than the other dive school.
It was one of the best day of our trip in Bali because during our snorkeling trip we had the luck to visit 2 more sites, one in the morning and the last one after lunch. These sites allowed us to see different corals and different fishes. We had the luck to meet a ray on the last spot because it was the spot the more deep, reef shark, and a moonfish. That’s why we could dive in apnea. We loved the diversification of the areas (corals, fishes) and the visibility was quite good.
